Jean-Baptiste DUCASSE (DUCAS)  was born 11 October 1723 in Lauzon, Lévis, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-la-Pointe-de-Lévy).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of Jean Baptiste DUCASSE (DUCAS) and Marie-Louise CARUEL dite BELLEVILLE.
