Born about 1616 (deposed 27 November 1671 'aged about fifty-five years;' deposed 24 December 1674 'aged about sixty;' deposed 31 March 1679 'aged sixty-three years,' son of the Rev. William Noyes of Cholderton, Wiltshire. Yeoman from Cholderton, Wiltshire who came to Massachusetts Bay in 1634 on the 'Mary & John' (on 24 March 1633/ 4, 'Nicholas Noyce' was enrolled at Southampton as a passenger for New England on the Mary & John). First settled in Ipswich MA; moved to Newbury in 1635. Died in Newbury 23 November 1701.

Nicholas Noyes was brother of JAMES NOYES {1634, Ipswich}. The two brothers were first cousins of THOMAS PARKER {1634, Ipswich} and fourth cousins of PETER NOYES {1638, Sudbury}.
