Geneviève died 10 May 1806 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur). Geneviève was the child of François-Robert PICHET dit DUPRÉ and Françoise BLANCHET dite LAFOREST.
From its inception in the early 1600s until 1760, it was called Canada, New France.
