Joseph COLE was born abt. 1660 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA (East, North, South) (Allston) (Readville) (Roslindale).
Made prisoner 21 August 1703, with her two daughters Deborah and Sara. She was ransomed by Pierre Boucher and served him as a servant with her two daughters. She abjured her protestant religion and was baptized under the name Elisabeth Catherine Raidait. Sarah Randal and her daughter Pricilla, born at Boucherville 29 April 1704, were part of an exchange of prisoners between New England and New France. Her other daughters remained in New France. On her return, Sarah married about 1706 to Thomas West. She died after 1727. (Jetté, p. 262; DGFC, vol. 1, p. 8; NEC, vol. 2. p. 14-15)
