Joseph  married  Marie-Charlotte AUBERT 17 July 1719 in Château-Richer, Canada, New France .  Marie-Charlotte AUBERT  was born 30 June 1700 in Château-Richer, Québec, Canada (La Visitation-de-Notre-Dame de Chateau-Richer).  Marie-Charlotte died 29 May 1773 in Québec, Québec, Canada (Quebec City).  Marie-Charlotte was the child of François AUBERT and Angélique TETU dite DUTILLY.
