James ADAMS died abt. 1667

James Adams, son of John Adams and Eleanor Newton, did not die in 1651 aboard the ship, James of London. The American Genealogist, Volume 55, Page 213 indicated that the man who died in 1651 may have been John Adams' brother.

There are two contracts between James Adams and Nicholas Ware dated 1656 and 1658. Nicholas Ware was Frances' brother-in-law.

There is also a 1657 land deed, signed by Frances, that indicates that her husband was living on the island of Barbados.

The death year of 1667 was obtained from the entry in the "U.S., New England Marriages Prior to 1700" compiled by Clarence Almon Torrey. The place of death is unknown.
