Marie-Thérèse died 8 May 1813 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage). Marie-Thérèse was the child of Louis-Michel DESMARAIS and Marie-Thérèse BOUSQUET.
From its inception in the early 1600s until 1760, it was called Canada, New France.
