Basile GIROUX  was born 29 December 1757 in La Prairie, Québec, Canada (St-Philippe) (St-Jean-François-Régis) (La Nativité).  Basile died 7 December 1809 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  Basile was the child of Pierre GIROUX and Marie-Antoinette SENÉCAL.
