Invention The microwave oven was invented accidentally in 1945 by Percy Spencer, a Raytheon engineer. While testing a magnetron, he noticed microwaves melted a candy bar in his pocket. Experimenting further, he discovered microwaves could cook food quickly. Raytheon patented the process, and by 1947, they built the first commercial microwave oven, called the 'Radarange.' Initially used in commercial settings, microwaves becomes affordable for home use by the 1960s and 1970s, revolutionizing cooking.
Invention The cell phone was invented by Martin Cooper of Motorola. On April 3, 1973, he made the first handheld mobile phone call with the Motorola DynaTAC. On February 13th 2014, six days shy of her ninety fifth birthday Charlotte's spirit was set free to once again dance with her beloved Raymond, hug her
Sister: Rhoda Marcus and kiss the cheeks of her mother and father Sam and Mae Levy. Charlotte's family will be forever blessed by the love, encouragement and guidance she bestowed upon them. Her legacy will be carried forward by her children, Michael and Carole Wice of Bloomfield, Nance Wice of Newington as well as Joy and Joel Barton of Sterling VA. She also is survived by her
Brother: Norman Levy of West Hartford. The pride she held for her grand children Daniel, Robert and Samara was evident always. Her seven great grand children Michaela and Molly Corbitt, Olivia, Sophia and Timmy Wice as well as Max and Anna Wice were Mama's ultimate pride and joy. Her love and devotion to her entire family knew no bounds. After raising her family, Charlotte loved her years spent in the children's department at Lord and Taylor's where she took
