Denis DEHORNAY dit LANEUVILLE  was born 9 February 1740 in Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Saint-Jean-Baptiste) .  Denis died 18 March 1791 in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, Canada (Notre-Dame-du-Rosaire, Saint-Hyacinthe-le-Confesseur).  Denis was the child of Joseph-Pierre DESHARNAIS dit LANEUVILLE and Elisabeth FOUCAULT.
