Marie-Catherine  married  Jean-Baptiste BOURBEAU dit CARIGNAN 8 January 1781 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 2 children.
Jean-Baptiste BOURBEAU dit CARIGNAN  was born 30 September 1753 in Saint-Pierre-les-Becquets, Québec, Canada.  Jean-Baptiste died 21 April 1833 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of François BOURBEAU dit CARIGNAN and Marie-Louise GENEST dite LABARRE.

Marie-Catherine HAMEL died 24 March 1836 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Lower Canada .
