Louis  married  Elisabeth COTE 2 March 1767 in Kamouraska, Province of Québec, Canada .  Elisabeth COTE  was born 29 January 1744 in Kamouraska, Québec, Canada (Saint-Louis) (Saint-Alexandre).  Elisabeth died 25 October 1809 in Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies, Québec, Canada.  Elisabeth was the child of Nicolas CÔTÉ and Marie-Claude LEVASSEUR.

Louis CASTONGUAY died 26 April 1811 in Saint-Roch-des-Aulnaies, Lower Canada.
