Joseph  married  Marie-Louise NIQUET (NIQUETTE) 16 February 1764 in Lavaltrie, Province of Québec, Canada .  Marie-Louise NIQUET (NIQUETTE)  was born 1 January 1742 in Saint-François-du-Lac, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Louise died 28 March 1801 in Saint-Cuthbert, Québec, Canada.  Marie-Louise was the child of Claude-Toussaint NIQUET (NIQUETTE) and Louise RIEL dite L'IRLANDE.
