Joseph GERLAISE (DESJARLAIS)  was born 17 February 1727 in Louiseville, Québec, Canada (Saint-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup).  Joseph died 9 November 1792 in Les Cèdres, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph-de-Soulanges Les Cedres).  Joseph was the child of Jean-François GERLAISE dit DESJARLAIS and Marie-Catherine AUBERT.
