Initially used in commercial settings, microwaves becomes affordable for home use by the 1960s and 1970s, revolutionizing cooking.

Obituary
Delbert A. Lambrecht, 75, of Coloma, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Pine Ridge Center in Stevensville.

Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.

Delbert was born on June 10, 1940 in Benton Harbor to Charles and Hazel (Hopkins) Lambrecht. He had been employed as a utility man and truck driver at State Tool prior to his retirement.

Delbert is survived by two children, his daughter Laurie (Lemmie) George of Watervliet and his son Delbert Lambrecht Jr. of Benton Harbor; three brothers, Gaylord (Jeanine) Lambrecht of Benton Harbor, Marlin (Carol) Lambrecht of Coloma, and Ronald (Evelyn) Lambrecht of Benton Harbor; three sisters, Louadell Williamson of Coloma, Naoma (Stan) Allen of Tennessee and Juanita Johnson of Batesville, Arkansas; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Martha who passed away in 1989.
