Joseph BERNIER was the child of Jean-Baptiste BERNIER   and   Elisabeth VILLENEUVE and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Andre-Benoni BERNIER and Josephte BOURDEAU (maternal)  Jean-François VILLENEUVE and Marie-Elisabeth JOBIN

Joseph  married  Josephte LEBEL dite BEAULIEU 16 January 1822 in Saint-Ambroise-de-la-Jeune-Lorette, Lower Canada .  The couple had (at least) 8 children.
Josephte LEBEL dite BEAULIEU  was born 19 February 1799 in Saint-Ambroise-de-la-Jeune-Lorette, Québec, Canada (Loretteville).  Josephte died 14 March 1875 in Saint-Félix-de-Kingsey, Drummond, Québec, Canada (Kingsey).  Josephte was the child of Louis LEBEL dit BEAULIEU and Geneviève MOREL.

Joseph BERNIER died 6 August 1844 in Saint-Félix-de-Kingsey, Drummond, Canada East .
