Nicolas  married  Marie-Josephe GREGOIRE dite VALENTIN 24 April 1752 in Contrecœur, Canada, New France .  Marie-Josephe GREGOIRE dite VALENTIN  was born abt. 1720 in Québec Province, Canada (Quebec).  Marie-Josephe died 14 August 1753 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  Marie-Josephe was the child of Julien GRÉGOIRE and Marie-Françoise DESERRE.

Nicolas DAUNAIS (DAUNAY) died 16 July 1772 in Saint-Ours, Province of Québec, Canada .
