Obituary

On Thursday January 31, 2002 Louise Marie Boisselle (nee Paul) of Calgary, lost a long and unfair fight with Alzheimer's disease at the Bow View Manor, at the age of 84 years. Mom was born July 13, 1917 in St. Boniface Manitoba, the second youngest of six children to Louis Joseph Paul and Mary Helene Thibert. She met and married Dad and gave life to her first three children in Winnipeg where they lived until 1950. They headed west that year intending to liv in Vancouver, but the beauty of Calgary stole their hearts and they stayed, and three more children were born. Mom worked many years for the Hudson's Bay Company downtown, retiring in 1978. Then, at the urging of relatives already there, Mom and Dad again moved west, this time to Kelowna, B.C. where their 'High Road Hotel' became a haven for family and friends to visit.
