John LUTHER died 17 September 1644 in At Sea*.





He was an original proprietor of Taunton, where he had 90 acres. He was master of a sailing ship belonging to Boston Merchants and trading with New Jersey, Delaware and co. The ship was attacked by Indians and John was killed. His son Samuel , his son, escaped. (Abell Family History, 1940)
