Jean-Baptiste CORMIER  was born June 20, 1785 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Jean-Baptiste died 8 January 1847 in Bécancour, Nicolet, Québec, Canada (Nativité-de-Notre-Dame-de-Becancour) (Saint-Edouard-de-Gentilly).  Jean-Baptiste was the child of Jean-Baptiste CORMIER and Marie-Angélique DUCHARME dite PROVENCHER.
