Jean  married  Suzanne DUVAL 29 January 1759 in Saint-Ours, Canada, New France .  Suzanne DUVAL  was born 17 March 1732 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  Suzanne died 12 June 1778 in Saint-Ours, Québec, Canada (Immaculée-Conception).  Suzanne was the child of Pierre DUVAL and Marie-Madeleine BRISSET.
