François LAPORTE dit ST-GEORGES  was born 19 November 1727 in Contrecœur, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Trinité-de-Contrecoeur).  François died 17 October 1814 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  François was the child of François LAPORTE and Marie-Louise CHEFDEVERGUE dite LAROSE.
