BRADLEY KENT NELSON, age 47 of Auburn Twp. Died suddenly November 12, 2009. Beloved husband of Jill E. (nee Mellott); loving father of Blake, Carole, and Grant; dear son of Mae and the late Carroll G. Nelson; son-in-law of John and Loretta Mellott; cherished brother of Craig (Catherine), Gary, Kimberly (Thomas) Yuhas, Pamela, Lynne (David) Rybak, Todd, and Shawn (Valerie) Nelson; brother-in-law of Deborah (Gregory) Gurgul, Denise Hillen, Heidi (David) Charles, and John (Barbara) Mellott, Jr.; uncle and cousin to many. Funeral Services Monday November 16, 11AM at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 17989 Chillicothe Rd., Bainbridge Twp. Family will visit with friends at KINDRICH-McHUGH STEINBAUER FUNERAL HOME, 33375 BAINBRIDGE RD., SOLON FROM 1-4 AND 6-8 PM SUNDAY, AND ONE HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICES AT CHURCH ON MONDAY. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Brad was born October 3, 1962 in Shaker Hts at St. Luke Hospital and grew up in Sagamore Hills. He graduated from Nordonia High School and University of Akron. Brad married Jill Mellott on Sept. 3, 1988. Brad is the President and Co-owner of Paul Davis Restoration, a commercial building company. He was instrumental in the construction of the Teen Life Center at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, named in his honor The Brad Nelson Teen Center, as well as other church restorations in the Cleveland surrounding area. Brad was also Cub Scout Den Leader #7 for Cub Scout Pack 102 of Bainbridge Twp.
