Louis-Sylvain DUPUIS was born 21 October 1721 in Saint-Charles-des-Mines, Acadia. Louis-Sylvain DUPUIS was the child of Jean DUPUIS   and   Anne Marguerite RICHARD and the grandchild of: (paternal)  Martin DUPUIS and Marie LANDRY (maternal)  Alexandre RICHARD and Elizabeth Isabelle PETITPAS

Louis-Sylvain was deported as part of the Acadian Exile / Grand Derangement around 1755.

He married  Françoise LEBLANC 17 July 1747 in Saint-Charles-des-Mines, Acadia .  The couple had (at least) 5 children. Françoise LEBLANC  was born 27 July 1727 in Grand Pré, Nova Scotia, Canada / Saint-Charles-des-Mines, Acadia.  She died 25 November 1802 in L'Acadie, Québec, Canada (Sainte-Marguerite-de-Blairfindie).  She was the daughter of Pierre LEBLANC and Françoise LANDRY.
