Louis  married  Modeste DUFAULT 26 February 1827 in Sorel, Lower Canada .  Modeste DUFAULT  was born 15 February 1808 in Sorel, Québec, Canada (Saint-Pierre).  Modeste died 11 April 1895 in Danville, Richmond, Québec, Canada.  Modeste was the child of Pierre DUFAULT and Elisabeth ST-MARTIN.
