Jean-Baptiste  married  Marie-Agathe BOTQUIN dite ST-ANDRE 4 February 1765 in L'Assomption, Province of Québec, Canada .  The couple had (at least) 3 children.
Marie-Agathe BOTQUIN dite ST-ANDRE  was born 10 May 1744 in L'Assomption, Québec, Canada (St-Pierre-du-Portage).  Marie-Agathe died 3 January 1810 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Québec, Canada (Pointe-Olivier).  Marie-Agathe was the child of Pierre BOTQUIN dit ST-ANDRE and Marie-Josephe LOISEAU.

Jean-Baptiste DEMERS died 21 November 1824 in Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, Lower Canada .
