Ambroise CLEMENT dit L'ALLEMAND  was born 8 July 1785 in Maskinongé, Québec, Canada (Saint-Joseph).  Ambroise was the child of Ambroise CLEMENT dit LALLEMAND and Thérèse MEUNIER.
