David H FARLEY
78, died peacefully of cancer in the early morning hours of January 12, 2001 at his home in Shelton, WA. He was born in Salem, MA. to Fredrick M. and Marion (Howard) Farley on April 27, 1923. He grew up in Belchertown, MA. David was a veteran of W.W. II serving in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1946 as an Airplane Maintenance Technician Inspector. He went to work at Boeing where he retired in May 1988 after 40 years as an engineer. He enjoyed spending the past 10 years in the Shelton area. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marcheta Lanning, sons Norman Farley, Gig Harbor, WA., Brad Farley, Seattle, WA., Walt Farley, Seattle, WA., Eric Lanning, Oakland, OR., Kevin Lanning, Renton, WA., daughters, Virginia Parks, Santa Cruz, CA., Pam Straw, Abita Springs, LA., Jennifer Lanning, Kent, WA., Anette Lanning, Casa Grande, AZ., Kari Lanning, Hayward, CA., one sister Nancy Schoettler, Seattle, WA. and one niece Joanna Schoettler, Seattle, WA. and 18 grandchildren. He was pre-ceded in death by his daughter Kristine Lanning. His love, acceptance and his life will be celebrated for generations to come.
