Sister Nancy Slade, 55
ADAMS - Sister Nancy Jane Slade, 55, of 103 Summer St. died Wednesday evening at her 1 home. Born in North Adams on Feb. 12, 1943, daughter of the late Charles S. and Janet Mclean Slade, she was self-educated. At the time of her death, she was a candidate for the Brothers and Sisters of Charity of Domestic Expressions. She was the owner and operator of her own business, The Holy Gospel Network, which recorded music and scripture for the elderly and the physically challenged. She was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She leaves two sisters, Mrs. Barbara Pomeroy of Lanesboro and Mrs. Mary La Pierre of Clarksburg, and a brother, John M. Slade of Dalton. FUNERAL NOTICE A Holy Eucharistic Service to celebrate the life of Sister Nancy Jane Slade will be celebrated Saturday at 11 at St. Marks Episcopal Church, Adams with the Rev. Arthur C. Parker, rector of St Mark's Church in Adams, as the celebrant. There are no calling hours. Burial will take place in x Clarksburg Cemetery, Clarksburg, in the spring. Memorial donations are suggested for St. Mark's Episcopal Church of Adams through the FLYNN AND DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St, North Adams.
