Leonard Korch Sr.
WEBSTER - Leonard R. Korch Sr., 30, of 13 Elm St., died Saturday in St. Vincent Hospital, Worcester.
He was born in Webster and lived here all his life. He was an employe of the Waterhouse Co.
Mr. Korch was a co-captain of the Bartlett High School basketball team in 1949-50 and played for the Lakers' Boys Club basketball and softball teams.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Madeleine (Choinier) Korch, his mother, Mrs. Mae (Ostberg) Korch of Webster; a son, Leonard R. Jr.; a daughter, Debra Ann Korch, both of Webster; four brothers, George of Arizona, Harold of Putnam, Conn., Warren of Worcester, Donald of Grosvenor Dale, Conn.; four sisters, Mrs. Jane Plaza of Dudley, Mrs. Charlotte Armstrong of Fiskdale, Mrs. Barbara Kopas of Dudley and Miss Norma Korch of Webster.
The funeral will be held from the Paradis Funeral Home Tuesday at 8:15 a.m. followed by a Solemn High Mass at 9 a.m. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are today, 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.
