Here Lies ye Body of Mr. John
Conant who Departed This
Life Agust The 26th AD 1756
Being About 42 Years of Age.

Here Lies intombed in this grave here
A husband kind a Parent dear
A neighbor good the poor mans Friend
whom death hath brought unto his End
The vital Cord asunder’s broke
By Cruel death how Great’s ye stroke
he useful was in Life tis true
And many Grieve’d when death him slew.
