Québec Ancêtre - Did you know?

Quebec has a rich, distinctive French-Canadian cuisine. Popular dishes include tourtière (a meat pie), and ragoût de boulettes et de pattes do cochon (a stew made from meatballs and pigs' feet). Other favorites include French onion soup, pea soup, and poutine. Quebec is also known for its maple syrup. Children enjoy eating tourquettes, a natural candy made by pouring boiling maple syrup onto fresh snow.
