1800s Cooking Tips and Recipes

THANKSGIVING PUDDING Pound 20 crackers fine, add 5 cups milk and let swell. Beat well 14 eggs pint sugar cup molasses 2 small nutmegs 2 TSP ground clove 3 ground cinnamon 2 TSP salt ½ TSP soda. Add to crackers. Finally add pint of raisins. Makes two puddings.
