Cottage Pudding Sift with one and a half cups of flour, one teaspoonful of saleratus and one-half teaspoonful of soda. Mix with this one cup of sweet milk, one cup of sugar and two eggs well beaten. Bake till done in a quick oven. Sauce - Beat together one cup of sugar and one-half cup of butter, stir in a cup of hot water, add flavor to taste.
