Geneviève BOUTIN - Misc

"Genevieve, was also born at Neuville, on 3 November 1668. Her baptism was recorded at Chateau-Richer by missionary Thomas Morel because Neuville only began its parish registry in July 1679. While still a young girl, Genevieve Boutin had a natural child named Catherine... a few years later, Abbot Etienne Boullard, pastor at Beauport, blessed the marriage of Genevieve Boutin and the Poitevin soldier Jean Marot dit Labonte, son of Jean and of Madeleine Travers, on 22 December 1690. The couple settled at Neuville, about 1694, where they raised six children."
