Abington, a post-village of Montgomery co, Pa., in Abington township, on the North Pennsylvania Railroad, at the junction of the Northeast Pennsylvania Railroad, 10 miles N. of Philadelphia. It has a Presbyterian church. Pop, of township, 2440. Abington township contains the village of Jenkintown, and also an Abington Station on a branch railroad extending from Conshohocken to Oreland.
