Fort Col'lins, a post-village, capital of Larimer co., Col., on Cache la Poudre Creek, in a fertile valley, and 'm the Colorado Central Railroad, about 4 miles from the Rocky Mountains, and 82 miles by rail N. of Denver. It has 5 churches, a graded school, 2 banks, 2 newspaper offices, 4 hotels, and 2 flouring-mills. The Agricultural College of Colorado is located here. Pop. in 1890, 2011.
