Saint Jean Port Joli, a post-village of Quebec: capital of the co. of L'Islet, on the S. shore of the St. Lawrence, and on the Grand Trunk Railway, 71 miles N.E. of Quebec. It contains a church, a tannery, and about 10 stores. Pop. 400.
