SOUTHBRIDGE - Reuben Baker, aged 46 years, died Thursday night at his home, 23 Sayles Street, after three days' illness from pneumonia. He was born in Manchaug and had lived in Southbridge 25 years, and at the time of his last sickness was an employee of the Litchfield Shuttle Co.
He is survived by his wife, Clorinda (Renaud) Baker, and three sons, Edward, William and Leo, and one daughter, Flora; also five brothers, Charles, William, Harry, George and Nurdan, all of Providence, and one sister, Mrs. George Plante of Esmond, R.I.
The funeral was Saturday morning from the home, a high mass of requiem being celebrated at 8.45 o'clock at St. Marys church, by Rev. Dennis Mullins. A delegation from Southbridge Lodge, Loyal Order of Moose, attended. Burial was in the family lot in St. Marys cemetery, in charge of Daniel T. Morrill, undertaker, the bearers being four brothers.
