Hydepark, a post-village of Norfolk oo., Mass., in Hydepark township (town), on the Neponset River and on the New York, New Haven and Hartford R., 8 miles S. by W. of Boston. It is the seat of the Blue Hill Observatory. The town, which also comprises Readville, Clarendon Hills, Hazlewood, and Fairmount, has manufactures of cotton, curled hair, machinery, paper, morocco, rubber, and woollen goods. Pop. of the town in 1900, 13,244.
