Alma, a banking post-village of Gratiot co., Mich., on Pine River and on the Pere Marquette and the Ann Arbor Rs., 37 miles W. of Saginaw. It has flouring- and woollen- mills, foundries, and a sugar-factory. Pop. in 1900, 2047.
