Walpole, a post-village in Walpole township (town), Norfolk Co., Mass., on the New York, New Haven and Hart ford R., 18 miles SSW. of Boston. It has manufactures of twine, cotton-batting, paper, emery, etc. The town is drained by the Neponset River. Pop. of the town in 1900, 3572.
