1910 - Students Have Narrow Escapes in College Fire
Richmond, Va., Dec. 25 - The north wing of Ryland Hall, the main building of Richmond College, erected in 1854, was ruined by fire of unknown origin at an early hour today. The estimated loss is $60,000, covered by insurance. Many students had narrow escapes but none was hurt.
