Did You Know?Quebec - Did you know? In early Quebec, French-Canadian women were dressed in a mantua, and an elegant headdress known as a 'fontange', whereas men wore breeches and waist-length jackets, while voyageurs wore high-crowned felt hats decorated with ostrich feathers.
